Review of Bayview Cottage Getaway, Port Townsend Vacation Rental

As a big fan of Port Townsend, I find myself staying visiting frequently and I find it fun and interesting to try out all of the different Port Townsend vacation rental options on the area. I recently had the pleasure of spending a few nights at the Bayview Cottage Getaway. The Bayview Cottage Getaway offers a wonderful location approximately 7 miles from Port Townsend on Discovery Bay. The view of the bay and the backdrop of the Olympic Mountains make the Bayview my new favorite in the Port Townsend area.

Bayview Cottage Getaway is a fairly quaint resort, offering three unique and charming cottages. I mention this because it is a good idea to make sure you have a reservation or you very well may find them booked. I enjoyed the pleasure of staying in Jenny's Cottage. It was a charming 1 bedroom with a direct view of Discovery Bay. The other options include the Seaside room, which is attached to the Inn Keeper's home, and the Bay Cottage which is a lovely two bedroom cottage, but a little more than I needed.

Unlike much of the Sound, Discovery Bay actually has water that is warm enough to swim in during the summer months and the beach is a nice and great for beachcombing, or enjoying an evening bonfire simply relaxing. I truly enjoyed everything about my stay at the Bayview Cottage Getaway and plan to return again and again. If you visit be sure to mention that Chris sent you.
